The pillowy uppers are linear quilted for a 3D look (and a plush feel against your feet). Leather-wrapped soles, soft all-leather linings and toe posts add to the refinement. Note: All the leather in these sandals has been tanned using an innovative process which involves no chromium salts, heavy metals or dangerous acids (approx. 85% of the world's leather is chrome-tanned). This process is complex and requires high quality leather, but creates less pollution, cleaner water streams, and, after tanning, the water used can be recycled. Another step toward FitFlop's goal of creating more sustainable footwear.
